Hot, Sweaty and Beautiful

The last few weeks I have been too busy working to write anything. Well that or I was napping. Training has started, the new instructors are here, we are starting to run through sessions, on days off places are being explored and people are getting to learn more about each other.

What’s happened?

Team bonding is a beautiful thing. We start our first evening out in a small bar with live music promised. Unfortunately we weren’t aware that it would be so loud that you’d have to shout to be able to communicate to the person sitting next to you. Ridiculous!! How ever we managed to play pool which made the night a lot more sociable.

This week just gone Jess and Chris have managed to get two skate ramps for FREE!! Which means there’s a bad ass skate crew in Al Jeer Town!!!

Caught the sunset a few times at the marina. Saw some fish jumping about, which scared the living daylights out of Carrie!!

Travelled to the Beach beside the Hilton Hotel. Found out they had added around a 100 metres of sand to the beach so there is a massively ridiculous walk to get to the sea. Although they have put in a volleyball court and beach football pitch in so it’s not all terrible.

At the beach we took several handstand, jumping and just being in the sea pictures whilst the sun set behind us.

Seventeen of us drove up the tallest mountain in the UAE to have a BBQ, watch the sunset, chit chat and listen to Lewis play the guitar.

We played football on a full size scale in a tremendously stupid amount of heat. Sooooooo much sweat. I didn’t believe it was possible to sweat so much.

Also myself and the staff team have been using the pool to its full potential. It’s so nice after a hard days work. It’s even nice when you’ve just been sitting around doing nothing because even then it’s 40 degrees outside and you look and feel gross.

What’s to come

In the next few weeks we finish training and the groups will start to arrive. I’m hoping to post more photography pictures this year as I’m currently using a grown ups camera (A Nikon or Cannon something like that).

Tomorrow is our first trip into the Mangroves for training so it’s going to be super hot with not much shade but lots and lots of crabs.
